Music has been my companion since finding that trumpet at age twelve. What began as curiosity has evolved into a 25-year career spanning over 1,700 performances, including more than 150 weddings and funerals. I’ve recorded my own album and contributed to numerous projects in both Minneapolis and Nashville.
Music truly runs in our family – all three of my children play multiple instruments, and my wife and I often perform covers together. Our 20+ years of marriage provides the foundation for both our music and our work with couples. As a licensed wedding officiant, I offer marriage counseling, and my wife (a marriage and family therapist) and I provide joint sessions for couples seeking deeper support.
The videos here offer glimpses into my musical journey – from wedding performances to teaching moments. My approach is always authentic and centered on connection, whether I’m teaching a first chord or officiating a ceremony.
I hope these snapshots give you a sense of what Birdtown Harmony House offers. Music creates moments that matter, and I’d be honored to be part of your story. There’s always room for one more in this musical family!
