I’m a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, music educator, and licensed wedding officiant with over 25 years of experience bringing music and harmony into people’s lives.

At Birdtown Harmony House, we meet you exactly where you are in your musical journey. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time, returning to music after a break, or looking to advance your skills, our personalized approach helps you build confidence while having fun.

With our mix of traditional training and modern recording techniques, you’ll learn to play the music you love in a warm, welcoming home studio environment that feels more like a creative space than a classroom.

My brief musical story:

My musical journey began at age twelve when I discovered a trumpet (thanks, Dad!). That spark ignited a lifelong passion, leading me to master multiple instruments and study Music Composition at North Central University. Since then, I’ve directed bands, performed over 1,800 events (including weddings and ceremonies), and recorded my own albums.

With 25 years of experience as both a performer and officiant, I bring a unique blend of musical expertise and compassionate guidance to every lesson and ceremony.

Today, I’m honored to share this journey with others at Birdtown Harmony House, whether they’re taking their first steps in music or celebrating life’s most precious moments.

Where I teach

Music lessons at Birdtown Harmony House happen in a sunlit corner of my Robbinsdale home, where a cherished Sohmer & Co. piano and well-loved guitar await. This isn’t a sterile practice room – it’s a warm, lived-in space where music mingles with memories. Whether you’re drawn to classical pieces, want to rock out to Nirvana, or dream of recording your own songs, you’ll find a welcoming environment here.

Natural light streams through the windows, house plants add life to the room, and the wooden floors create perfect acoustics for making music together. It’s a place where students can relax, be themselves, and discover their musical voice – wherever that journey might lead.
